Integration Description

Radio Thermostat Company of America’s approach to communications allows for a variety of means to integrate with the Silver Spring Networks’ Smart Energy Network solution. Our communicating thermostat can connect to the network via any type of radio including ZigBee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, 6LowPAN, or a proprietary technology. With multiple radios installed, the thermostat itself can act as a bridge or gateway. This highly evolved thermostat can also display energy usage and metrics, as well as critical messages from utilities via Silver Spring’s Smart Energy Network.
